About this course
In this course we’ll explore aspects of rhythm, harmony and melody, with clear explanations and practical tasks for you to try. We’ll also look at how to develop your musical ideas and have a go at three mini compositions that you can build into longer projects. By the end of the course you will have learned several compositional starting points and techniques, and feel confident in beginning to write your own music.

This course is for anyone wanting to take a more formalised approach to composition. It is ideal for students beginning GCSE composition (or similar).
